Believe it or not as self-explanatory this vehicle is, that's one of the most common questions, what is it?.  Nova Star is an Art Car or a Mutant Vehicle. Basically a golf cart that was mutated in an artistic way into a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object). It was constructed over an industrial Taylor Dunn golf cart. Yes it drives! It is electric, equipped with six 6V 205 AH batteries for the driving and two more 12v lead-acid batteries for the lights, projectors, ramp and dome.
Also has a JBL bluetooth portable speaker, and a small generator powered by fuel that charges it if needed for emergencies or to run the AC. Three rows of programable LED lights on the exterior, a new strip of LEDs on the front, interior ultraviolet lights, front driving lights, four more white lights underneath and five Gobo projectors placed in a pentagonal formation around the vehicle with Crop Circles and Sacred Geometry images with different colors. There's a ramp that lowers on the side for accessibility and the dome rises as well. The dome was covered with a light grey vinyl wrap for 3 years and it had 85% visibility from the inside. The dome it’s temporarily 100% clear now but it will be two way mirror tinted in a near future. The interior it's a round silver vinyl seat so no matter where you seat, you are always facing the outside. It has a five to six passengers capacity including the driver. It comes with a dashboard with some controls for the ramp, dome, head lights and LED lights. The dashboard it’s also equipped with a monitor for the camera on the back. It can be recharged by either plugging it in to a regular electrical outlet or it could be recharged with the portable generator onboard.
It weights 2700 pounds, it's 11 ft wide and it's 8 ft tall.
For pics of the process while being built please see the Gallery album Making Nova Star.
And no, it doesn't fly...yet.
Perhaps one day the John Searl Inverse Gravity Vehicle technology, similar anti-gravity technology, and zero point energy could be incorporated into this art car.
